Logo usage

Do

  • Keep the logo legible. Minimum size: 24px high for the icon-only mark; 120px wide for the wordmark.
  • Maintain clear space. Leave at least half the logo’s height of empty space around it.
  • Use the SVG versions whenever possible. They scale cleanly and preserve the exact mark geometry.
  • Use the icon-only mark for favicons, app icons, and tight spaces.
  • Place the mark on high-contrast backgrounds. Pitch Black, Chalk White, or quiet neutral surfaces work best.

Don’t

  • Don’t stretch or squish. Always preserve aspect ratio.
  • Don’t add effects. No drop shadows, glows, 3D transformations, or decorative gradients behind the logo.
  • Don’t recolor. The palette is part of the identity.
  • Don’t animate. Static logo only, outside of official SportsPerp animations.
  • Don’t imply a partnership. Using our logo does not imply that SportsPerp endorses your project.

Color palette

The core palette is deliberately small:

Light baseChalk White#FAFAFABackground default (light mode)
SecondaryShort Red#EF4444Short positions, errors, risk indicators

Typography

Use a two-font system:

  • Display and UI: a geometric sans-serif with strong numerals. The trading app currently uses the system/Geist-style stack exposed by Next.js.
  • Body: a neutral, highly readable sans-serif for documentation and long-form pages.
  • Numbers: use tabular figures where possible, especially for prices, funding rates, margin ratios, and balances.

Design philosophy

The frontend’s visual style is:

  • Dense, data-forward. Numbers matter. Type hierarchy emphasizes readable numbers, clear decimal alignment, and scannable market state.
  • Sport-inflected but not sporty. No jerseys, mascot graphics, betting slips, or stadium clichĂ©s. The visual language borrows from trading UIs first, sports second.
  • Dark by default. The core product is a trading workspace; dark mode reduces glare and lets live-state colors carry meaning.
  • Sharp and honest. Use real UI screenshots, protocol diagrams, and measurable claims before decorative art.

Community and partner content does not need to follow this exactly. Official SportsPerp channels should.

Social sharing

Use the whitepaper social image for launch and documentation links:

Using our name

  • “SportsPerp” is one word, capitalized as shown. Not “Sports Perp” or “Sportsperp.”
  • “$SPERP” is the planned token symbol, always uppercase, prefixed with $.
  • “OBV Index” is the composite index we compute. OBV (“On-Ball Value”) is an industry-standard football-analytics methodology; SportsPerp’s composite indexing layer is ours, and the underlying OBV signal originates with our data partner.

In writing, lead with “SportsPerp” on first mention; subsequent mentions can use “the protocol” or “the exchange” if context is clear.

Press

Boilerplate

SportsPerp is the first on-chain perpetual futures protocol for continuous sports-performance indices. Built on Solana, SportsPerp lets traders take leveraged positions on a composite On-Ball Value (OBV) Index — derived from institutional event-level football data — for Premier League teams and players. The protocol is live on devnet and is targeting mainnet before the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Use verbatim or adapt; just don’t misrepresent the product.

Key facts

  • 68 markets at launch (20 teams + 48 players)
  • 32 program instructions
  • Spearman ρ = 0.9023 backtest vs 2023/24 EPL final table
  • Program ID (devnet): 6d4fSCD7mNy7aDNS2mXUxYpZjFFQKBKwAsM5kojKQA6h

Always verify dynamic numbers such as TVL, trading volume, uptime, and active wallets against public dashboards before publishing.

Attribution

Using our brand assets is free. We ask:

  • Link to the official site when using the logo in a post, article, or integration.
  • Don’t use the logo in a way that implies partnership unless there is one. “Built on SportsPerp” is fine; “SportsPerp x YourProject” implies co-branding and needs written approval.
  • Attribute OBV methodology carefully. OBV is an industry-standard football-analytics methodology consumed via SportsPerp’s institutional data partner. Our composite indexing layer is SportsPerp’s; the underlying OBV signal originates with the partner, whose name we do not publicise.

Requesting custom assets

For specific partner integrations or events, we can sometimes provide custom assets:

  • Co-branded graphics.
  • Localized wordmarks.
  • Event-specific lockups.

Reach out through the official channels with your request. We usually respond within a few business days.
